Rome's Oldest Credit Union!

About Us

The Revere Rome Division Employees Federal Credit Union was first chartered in January 1936. The Credit Union was originally opened as a small office near the gate in the mill at the Revere Copper and Brass. Revere employees, as well as their spouses and members of their immediate familes, were eligible to become members.

In June of 1980 a new building was erected on Seneca Street, just outside of the entrance to Revere Copper Products. In 1985 the Rome Municipal Employee Federal Credit Union merged with the Revere Employees Credit Union and the credit union name was changed to Rome Federal Credit Union.

By 1995 our membership grew to include employees of Revere Copper Products, Inc, Navelli Cadiliac, Davidson's Chevrolet, Rome Memorial Hospital Employees and the entire City of Rome Employees.

October 2004 new management was set in place and the logo was changed to Rome Federal ""Above and Beyond"". Memberhsip was also extended to several additional local businesses, including M & L Trucking, Kris-Tech Wire, Jet Sew, American Allow Steel, Jervis Library, Toccolano Club, Rome Housing Authority and MA Polce.
